8. Be organized. Paint the trim first, then continue with the ceiling by rolling paint with a sequence of m-shaped strokes then pain the bare surfaces by cross rolling. If you're using a brush, you should apply the paint in small strokes toward the exposed area, going from wet to dry. And then brush back into the surface you painted. When you get to the walls, rim around the ceiling first. If you have a semi-gloss or gloss, make the final brush strokes away from the source of light in a room of Del Mar luxury homes-- the tiny edges that a brush leaves won't be as distinct.
