Leave a comment » Del Mar Luxury Real Estate Market Update February 2010 March 2010The number of actively listed Del Mar homes increased from 146 to 159 this month of March. The average listed prices decreased by 2%, from $3,688,365 down to $3,598,373. Median prices for this month also decreased from $1,824,500 down to $1,798,000. There are also 8 sold Del Mar home as compared to last month's 6, though the average selling price of these homes are lower as compared to last month's, from $2,175,000 down to $1,808,125. There are also fewer new Del Mar homes for sale this month as there are only 27 new homes listed compared to last month's 30. In spite of that, the average listing price of this month's new listings is comparably higher than last month's. If you're looking to buy a new home, now is probably a good time since the homes are selling a little lower than their actual listed price.
